On a warm Saturday in June at PARQUE Ridley Creek in Glen Mills, PA, Erin and Drew's wedding unfolded amidst a backdrop of natural beauty enhanced by carefully curated floral designs. Their nuptials were characterized by a refined and elegant aesthetic, seamlessly blending with the venue's inherent charm.

TWIG  had the joy of bringing to life their vision to life, creating a delicate yet striking ambience throughout the celebration.Their special day was marked by a thoughtful and elegant design that perfectly complemented the venue's natural charm and the couple's personal style.

Erin’s bouquet was a delicate composition of soft white, pink, nude, and purple – a blend that spoke of romance and understated elegance. It was a bouquet that captured the essence of Erin herself: graceful, vibrant, and full of life. This color palette set the tone for the entire wedding, weaving its way through every element of the décor.

The long sweetheart table,, was adorned with lush greenery and several bud vases. These vases echoed the soft hues of Erin’s bouquet, creating a seamless and harmonious visual experience. As guests entered the space, they were greeted with this stunning tableau, a testament to the couple’s attention to detail and their desire to create an atmosphere of romance and warmth.

In order to maximize the design, Erin’s bridesmaids’ bouquets were repurposed as centerpieces for three guest tables. This not only brought a cohesive look to the entire event but also added a touch of sentimentality, as each bouquet held its own story and connection to the bridal party.

The remaining guest tables were graced with large, low-to-the-table centerpieces that displayed the same soft and inviting color scheme as Erin’s bouquet. These arrangements were were carefully crafted to be full of depth, color, and organic movement.

Yet, the day itself presented us with a potential challenge – the unpredictability of nature. Warm summer showers had our designers creating floral pillars under the shelter of the gazebo while rain poured around them.

Luckily, as if in acknowledgment of the couple’s love and perseverance, the sun emerged with plenty of time to spare, allowing the ceremony to be held outside as planned.

A notable aspect of the ceremony’s design was its adaptability. Originally meant to be attached to the stone wall on-site, we decided to make something “movable” a few days before the wedding due to the rainy forecast. This decision not only saved the day when the weather turned but also made repurposing the decorations more manageable and aesthetically pleasing.

Adding a personal and heartfelt touch to the celebration, one of the bride’s students made and delivered their wedding cake – a gesture that spoke volumes of the couple’s cherished relationships and community bonds.

The ceremonial space was nothing short of a fairy tale. Two large arrangements adorned the ledges of the stairs leading up to the altar, complemented by a multitude of pillar candles. The water fountain, an integral part of the venue’s charm, was also beautifully decorated, creating a serene and enchanting backdrop for the couple’s vows.

Attention to detail was evident in every corner of the venue. Bud vases and votives accentuated the bookcase, fireplaces, and window sills, each adorned with an array of photos of Erin, Drew, and their families. These personal touches transformed the space into a visual narrative of their lives, a celebration of their past, present, and future.

It was an honor to be a part of this celebration, to contribute to the creation of memories that would last a lifetime. Their wedding was a testament to love’s ability to not just endure but to flourish, come rain or shine.
