Nestled in the heart of Malvern, Pennsylvania, Loch Aerie Mansion served as the enchanting backdrop for Ewuraekua and Matthew's celebration of love. A local gem adorned with local blooms, this beautiful venue became the canvas for a wedding that seamlessly blended the bride and groom's individual preferences into a harmonious symphony of monochrome elegance and vibrant colors.
The Harmony of White and Color: Ewuraekua and Matthew's Floral Vision
While we planned the wedding flowers, Ewuraekua's love for vibrant colors and Matthew's preference for clean white blossoms became evident. Not wanting to disappoint the other, the bride and groom agreed on the perfect solution that spoke to the union of two distinct preferences into a beautiful whole. We splitting up the ceremony and reception florals into two unique aesthetics.
The lawn at Loch Aerie was accented with a stunning golden arch adorned with white blooms, and the aisles were delicately lined with white baby's breath "clouds," creating an ethereal atmosphere for their nuptials.
From the outside, Ewuraekua and Matthew's day looked to be a crisp palette of neutrals accented only by the brides vibrant wedding bouquet, a bold mix of oranges, pinks and yellows.
A Staircase of Colorful Welcome: Setting the Tone for Celebration
But the guests were in for a surprise upon entering the mansion for cocktail hour, where they were greeted by a sight to behold – a bright, full, and richly decorated staircase in a rainbow of warm-toned colors.
This exquisite display offered a preview of the vibrant hues that would characterize the reception. Shades of yellow, orange, pink, purple, and hints of white adorned the staircase, setting the tone for the lively celebration that awaited.

Guest tables were adorned with either tall, bright centerpieces atop gold stands or intimate tables featuring small, vibrant bud vases. Pillars, hurricanes, and votives added an extra layer of warmth and romance, illuminating the celebration with flickering candlelight.
