Aesthetic: Minimalist and timeless white and green

Creating the floral designs for Laurel and Josh's wedding at the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia was an experience that the TWIG team members will remember forever. The Please Touch Museum, known for its grand architecture and whimsical exhibits, offers a unique and playful backdrop for events. This setting allows couples to infuse their celebrations with creativity and joy, making each wedding unique.

For Laurel and Josh, the museum provided the perfect canvas for their vision of a timeless and elegant celebration. The couple's choice of a classic color palette of green and white, a combination that speaks to enduring love and natural beauty, was a personal touch that resonated with their commitment. This palette seamlessly complemented the museum's aesthetic, blending the event's sophistication with the venue's elegant spirit.

The ceremony's centerpiece was a magnificent 10ft high Chuppah created by Carly, Mindy, Amy, and Cassidy. This architectural marvel was draped in long, elegant white and cream fabrics, adorned with lush greens and florals cascading down one side and a tasteful hint of greenery on the other. The Chuppah symbolized the couple's new home together, sheltered under a canopy of love and natural beauty.

In a thoughtful display of sustainability and creativity, the Chuppah was later lowered to 8ft and repurposed behind the couple during the reception. The team carefully rearranged the fabric and flowers, creating a new, equally stunning backdrop. This innovative use of the Chuppah continued to serve as a focal point of beauty and significance, adding a unique touch to the celebration.

The path to the Chuppah was lined with romantic, gold-rim lanterns surrounded by a scatter of white petals, setting the stage for a breathtaking entrance. With their soft glow, these lanterns added a touch of romance and warmth to the ceremony. After the ceremony, we repurposed these beautiful pieces to adorn non-guest tables and a set of long risers below the DJ, ensuring the magic of the couple's love was reflected in every corner of their celebration.

The guest tables were adorned with one of two stunning arrangements for the reception, each featuring gold table numbers that added a touch of elegance and continuity throughout the space. The first arrangement boasted tall glass flutes filled with curly willow and delphinium/larkspur, which Josh himself placed masterfully on each table, accompanied by votives that cast a warm, inviting glow. The gold-rimmed votives added a touch of elegance to the arrangement. The second arrangement featured a captivating combination of three varied-height pillar candles and vases with white tulips alongside gold-rimmed votives and sprinklings of greenery.

These floral designs not only enhanced the beauty of the tables but also served as a testament to the couple's attention to detail and our team's commitment to creating a harmonious and memorable experience for their guests. Each arrangement was meticulously crafted to ensure it perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic of the wedding, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.

Working with Laurel and Josh on their wedding day was a privilege we at TWIG don't take lightly. Their vision for a timeless and elegant celebration, combined with the playful and imaginative backdrop of the Please Touch Museum, allowed for a truly magical experience. From the majestic Chuppah to the intricate table arrangements, every floral design element was crafted with love and intention.

As their wedding florist, we're deeply grateful for the trust Laurel and Josh placed in our team to bring their floral dreams to life. Their trust was not only an honor but also a testament to our commitment to excellence. Seeing their celebration's joy and beauty unfold reminded us why we love what we do. To Laurel and Josh, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your love story. Here's to a lifetime of happiness, love, and timeless beauty, just like the magical day we celebrated together at the Please Touch Museum.
